Whoa, whoa, whoa. Equal pay? Have we even come to the conclusion that they deserve health care yet? Let's start with the basics before we get to radical things like your "equal pay."

I felt Pride last year was sponsored by the SCP Foundation and the Umbrella Corporation. I have a similar feeling here.

I noticed when airlines and other travel-related companies started showing young, clean cut gay couples in their advertising over the last decade, and I was both happy and a bit cynical. Like, congrats LGBTQ, you've officially made it into the mainstream when you become a demographic worthy of being depicted in ads by a pair of recently aged-out Abercrombie models.

This is how formerly shunned groups are dissolved in the acid of capitalism. With non-threatening yet still impossibly pretty models, and quirky music.

(In all honesty, MLK would likely have hated trans people.)
