Good for them, overpriced, bland food, and woman who won’t give them a second thought.

I’ve been to Hooters all of twice in my life. The first time was in Innsbruck, Austria, of all places, and the atmosphere was very different than what I experienced in St. Louis for the Frozen Four back in ‘06 or ‘07.

The age of consent in Austria is 14. That's gotta make Hooters a completely different experience.

I am so very confused by a lot of what I read in that post and the replies. First, is there significance to the t-shirt line? And why did she go on about her husband’s distance running? And how/why was that construed as some sort of signaling by the trans ladies replying to the post?

I’m probably living in a cave on all of this. I don’t tend to follow famous people unless certain yet varying criteria are met. Rowling hasn’t met them as I don’t like to hate/doom scroll social media.

It looked like there was a link to the t-shirt line and it started with xx xy so I'd say that's the significance. I wonder if they sell any unisex shirt sizes.
 
I took the unnecessary distance runner/marathoner side comment to be virtue signalling about what a "real" man her husband is. :rolleyes:

Joanne is a poor little uber-rich girl. Her extreme activism on an issue that directly affects relatively few people has cost her several friendships and many acquaintances, I have no doubt. Even if you tend to agree with her positions, who the fuck would want to hang around with her when this is all she ever seems to talk about anymore? She is lonely and angry about it. The only thing left is for her to go full deranged Nancy Mace on the bit, but she's too British for that.

Elmo's thugs removed the trans references on the Stonewall Inn page. Never mind that two trans women led the riot and threw the first bricks.

Again, struggling to square not existing and having to pay taxes at the same time, but amor fati, eh?
 
Texas wants to strip trans adults of affirming care.

Texas legislature also proposed charging trans people with criminal fraud. Reminds me that before Stonewall, it was illegal to wear more than 3 pieces of the opposite sex's clothing. Not likely to pass, but I'm not holding my breath.
