Other ECAC-W scores... Naz & Utica finished in a tie at 2, while M'Ville appears to have Hobart on the ropes 4-2 with under a minute remaining in regulation... check that... 4-3 now (third goal went-in at 19:21)!!

SNC scored midway through period to make 2-1 but still too close for the CCC faithful
Rial scores on a nice backdoor pass with under a minute left to make 3-1. And then Lee somehow pushes a puck backhanded - while facing away from the goal - past the FU net minder with :08.1 left to make it 4-1.
SOG 28/13 SNC. But until that last minute it was a very close game. FU goalie playing well.

That was probably the worst 3rd period I have seen Norwich play in a long time. Glad McShane took the time out because if it had continued I would have pulled my hair out. The team looked so unorganized, horrible passes, players out of position, not to mention the failed 5 on 3 powerless play the Cadets had for about 1 1/2 minutes. They ended up putting it back together which is the only redeeming thing about the period. Let's hope they got that out of their system. A lot to learn and work out before the Prime Link comes around in a few short weeks.

In some ways the score was reflective of the play and the way SNC controlled play. But it was just 2-1 with a minute left in the second. FU just couldn't generate any offense.

Not many positives for Geneseo in tonight's game--too many "no look" passes, ill-advised drop passes just inside the blueline, turnovers on defense, shots that missed the net, etc.--and Potsdam did a great job packing it in around their goalie and getting in the passing lanes to cash in on Geneseo's errors. Nick Horrigan really kept Geneseo in the game or it could have been worse.
