Of course it is but if you listen to Melrose any year he always picks the Sioux as it seems to be the only team he knows anything about. At least talk about the opponent once in a while. Believe me I don't want either of these teams to win. I have UND as the favorite in this game but Michigan is playing well. I am still hoping for a 10 OT game.

Absolutely! I would also prefer that they do win. My comment wasn’t meant as ill will against UND or Frattin. Just an observation. UND has a great team but they had kind of a cupcake end to the regular season and then got Tech again in the WCHA first round.

Sioux having a tough time solving Hunwick. Lammy just stopped.

The longer this game stays close (whether its 1-0, 1-1 or 2-1) it favors Michigan. If the Sioux get any momentum they'll pull away.

We've had some pretty heart-breaking NCAA losses in recent years due to running into a hot goalie. :(

Looks like a lot of Sioux players already getting frustrated and trying to score without any help from their teammates. Always a recipe for disaster.

You can not dump and chase vs. Michigan. Its not going to work against a team vs. Michigan. Skate into the zone, set up just under the blue line, pass the puck and pick the D apart. That is how you are going to beat them.

I'm surprised as I didn't see this game being a pitchers' duel. I wonder if Hunwick can throw a complete game or if Red Berenson will have to go to his bullpen?

Hunwick is not letting anything in right now. Sioux with grade A chances right on the doorstep. MI 1 UND 0 end 2
 
No idea how michigan is winning this game but unfortunately I think it's only a matter of time for UND

Is it just me or does Hunwick look like he should be playing in the State High School Tournament?

Goaltending and defense - UND generally isn't getting 2nd and 3rd chances after taking the initial shot.
