Been a while since I logged in but I had to for this. Gotta say I really enjoyed this one. I'm used to watching RIT run up the score against other teams from their DIII days. How can you feel bad for a team shuts out another 24-0? That was a Wayne Wilson coached team too. Congrats to RIT to though. The greatest DIII team to ever reach the FF. May you never get back.

That's just wrong.
Ralph should send an invoice to the state for the cost of the arena.
Time to stick it to the politicians and the courts and change the name to the "ground squirrels" or "prairie dogs".
How about the "Surrendering French"?

Great win for the Badgers. A few observations...

1. They moved the puck really well throughout the game. Good crisp passing and movement.

2. The second period calls were indeed iffy. The CFB could have been a two, and the trip called when Smith went down was more a situation where he lost an edge during contact than anything the RIT player did with a his stick.

3. The layoff killed RIT. They came in looking like a team that had lost all momentum whatsoever.

4. The ice was very mediocre. You could hear it in their skates late in the game.

5. Saturday will be a different story. Tough game for the championship predicted, especially if we get 2006 Part II against BC.

Why in the world did you pull your senior goaltender in his last game? It was out of reach, just leave him in.

Maybe you want your other goaltenders to get a little experience. Down 6-1 I don't think it really matters at that point.
