So, ESPN, if I wanted an update on every single Tiger Woods shot, fart, and leer at a woman in the crowd, I'd press the down button on my remote once to get to ESPN. Jesus.

BREAKING NEWS: Michigan is in the WCHA.

Also, we finally established 24 mins into the game that the WCHA > AHA.

This FF was conceived and awarded well before the 2008 financial crisis. The thought was they'd have 65,000 people in there cheering on Michigan or Michigan state and college hocley would take the next step in it's development. Joe Louis was not considered. Had Joe louis been the bidding rink, the Detroit bid would have lost. It's an outdated NHL arena that was built on the cheap in the late 70s/early 80s and is in need of replacement, relative to newer NHL arenas in bid cities.

Since the, the economy nosedived. MSU and Michigan didn't get there, and you get what you are seeing now...

I like the RIT goalie reaction. Get up fast for the scrum, oh s***, the puck is in the net. Lets reach back before anyone notices.

Well, they did play Wisconsin twice this year. That's probably confusing to a guy whose idea of research is to look at the schedule.

Not really. Considering how much money ESPN is losing on these games, their lack of production, research etc isn't surprising.
