I loved watching that video. The players not wearing facemasks, the old style goalie masks and goalies that don't look like Michelin men, Snively and Jim Jeanotte announcing. Very cool stuff.

Just a PS: notice the chain link fencing (instead of "glass") behind the goal?

And love the Jim Jenotte audio on it. The current guys do a great job, but I still miss his call of UNH games...

Great way of decsribing it. Happy weekend to you to, Dean (and also Chad and the other stalwarts here).

The trick on defense (in those days with no facemasks) was to have one defenseman pin an opposing forward's face agaist the chain link fence, while a second d-man rubbed him laterally along it. Basically a war crime.

Sorry to be the downer voice here, but I'm sort of sick of all the sorthanded goals we've been giving up recently...

I have no idea what it is, but once this team gets the lead it completely loses it's focus.
