On my way out the door for the journey to the TD Garden. To all the dedicated fans who follow UNH on the Score Updates, here is a re-post which includes a youtube video of the amazing 3-goal outburst by Clark-Hislop-Cox so many years ago.

In honor of Gordie Clark being named to the ECAC 50th Anniversary Team,
and in recognition of the beginnings of UNH's Playoff Quest many years ago,
I have posted a video of Gordie Clark, Jamie Hislop and Cliff Cox scoring 3 goals in 1 minute and 45 seconds in the 1974 ECAC Quarterfinals against RPI:

That is an awesome video. I don't know if I'm more surprised by what they did or how good the quality of a video from 1974 is.

Hey all, I'm here. Looking forward to this one. I really think UNH needs to get on the board first. If they let MC get the jump on them, they could be in real trouble. I hope Umile has these guys better prepared than last week, cuz MC will not let them get away with the same crap they pulled against UVM. Happy Friday and LET'S GO CATS!!!

I loved watching that video. The players not wearing facemasks, the old style goalie masks and goalies that don't look like Michelin men, Snively and Jim Jeanotte announcing. Very cool stuff.

Goal is being reviewed and Parkhurst says it will be overturned as a Wildcat was offside. CRAP!!!

Oh man. that was lucky for Cannata... could easily have been 1-0, but DeSimone did not clear the zone before the shot. Crap.

Evenin' all! We're getting some good chances on Mack, gotta keep up the pressure. Pepper Cannata and one of em is gonna go in...again :rolleyes:
