wow something happened while I was posting - River Falls 3 - CSS zip.....

Had to tune into this one

Falcons are just burying their chances it looks like and playing good
When Saints pressured the Falcons on the breakout they did better. Wanted to see what saints had , what made them so good to date , haven`t seen anything yet.

Appears that RF is rolling all 4 lines and winning individual battles. Never know what will happen in the 2rd period. But I think it is RF that has typicaly struggled in 2nd period and they stayed even in the 2nd period tonight

Just got back from the game, Wick played with intensity, NEC played hard and maybe just a little dirty. What caused the scrum at the end of the 1st period? It was down on the boards to my right and all I could see was a mass of players until a NEC player, #44?? made a charge from behind that I thought was more desearving than Mulvey's 5 min hit from behind (besides the fact that it was after the whistle and the buzzer!) Anybody see it from the other side of the rink? I thought many players played their hearts out tonight but didn't get goals, Kyle Thomas, Chad Anderson and DJ Fimiani were awesome. Glad to see Eskedjian get another and Tallent too. Klinger was solid, not giving up many rebounds. I just love the heart and depth of this team.

River Falls 5 and Saints 0

Funny I think the Saints announcer said the falcons gota couple "cheap" goals at the end but from what i could see they looked like smart goals, won a face off at center ice and gota breakaway and scored on one.

I got a kick out the Scolastica announcer sumizing said " Saints just had one of those nights, they have to have one once in a while" so I guess it was just a bad night rather than any skill from River Falls
