The first period ends much to the delight of the goaltenders.

Fredonia leads Potsdam, 3-2.

Potsdam will have a power play carry over to the second. Fredonia's Oye could have had a shorthanded breakaway in the waning seconds, but fell.

Pretty decent (and late coming) crowd after all considering the students aren't around. Some have definitely stuck around campus including other athletes.
