NOPE, I have gone more modern, now I hook a length of copper wire onto an arrow and shoot it into the upper branches of a tree!! Can get many more stations that way! My point is, just be glad you can listen to a game. It wasn't long ago when the game was out of town you had to wait until the score was reported to the media to get the score. We are lucky we have had Ducky for at least the 35 years or longer I have followed the Cards. First with WEAV and later on WIRY and ultimately on WIRY.COM so we can get the game when out of the area.

I'm just as big of a 'Cuse fan and couldn't miss that game. I also live 20 min from the Dome and 4 and a half from Platty so you do the math.

I suppose with all that lake Ontario Effect Snow you have to depend more on the web. In all honesty though, I wish PSUC would webcast the games. I don't understand it either. It appears they do have the capabilities but just don't do it.

I have been to 1 basketball game in 13 plus year @ USM.....Not a big fan of hoops!!!

Ahh, we had the big 4 - WPTZ 5 (NBC), WCAX 3 (CBS), WEZF 22 (ABC & now called WVNY) and WCFE 57 (PBS - Plattsburgh)/WETK 33 (PBS - Burlington) , BUT we also got WMTW 8 (ABC but different cartoons than WEZF) AND CBMT 6 (CBC Montreal) and CFCF 12 (CTV Montreal) - plus a couple pesky french channels from Canada (but they certainly had different late night censorship standards than the rest) :eek:

I guess we had it great :)

That is like comparing apples to oranges. How can you not go see #3 (my team err SU) play #9 when it is 20 min from where you live. Don't get me wrong I love hockey but there are more sports out there. Open up and broaden your interests.:D

I spent some time with the video crew there last year - They have more than what they need to put on a nice show - a few nickels for one piece of gear and some bandwidth and they are good to go...

From what I was told they have it all...its simply getting the server to "okay" it and someone to plug the line in....thats it.......just sad....

Totally uncalled for....maybe the administration at Castleton will see this and take some action.

The answer is no. #29 Ryan Frost played today @ St Mikes and had 1 goal.:mad:

No offense Emery, but if this is what we have to look forward to in having Castleton on our schedule and not Elmira....suck it up and make the trip to Horseheads instead of Rutland. Sad.

I'd love to see someone ask the coach his reasoning for not sitting him. Are we going to see a "Suh" excuse of "people are going to think things and don't know what I was thinking when I accidently stomped on, I mean around the guys leg"?? Or are we going to get a "what did I do" excuse? Its clear as day people. His hands didn't slip. This is what seperates good coaches and great coaches. I know if that happened at Plattsburgh, that kid would be sitting at least one game, if not more. Come on Castleton Crazies...defend your goons on this one.....you dont have a snowballs chance in H-E-L-L on that one....

Apparently Coach Todd has to go back to school to get some class, should take Ryan Frost #29 with him. I am proud of all the schools, coaches and administrations that don't put up with unsportman like conduct. Castleton will not go anywhere near the NCAA's without more control over their emotions/style of play. I'd rather see great passes, goalies standing on their heads, and team effort than one game of goon hockey!

Hate to say I told you so. I really hate the fact Plattsburgh and Elmira aren't on each other's schedules this year. Hopefully it comes back. It'd be great for both schools and fanbases because Plattsburgh used to be #2 most hated after RIT back in the day for EC fans.

I never disagreed; I’d love a game or two just 45 minutes away from my door. Heck I skate at the Hobart rink several times a week now. Hobart/Elmira in one weekend? Elmira/Morrisville? I know it was economics. Maybe if Plattsburgh was like Utica they could just play Elmira every year in Plattsburgh. I know the travel funds are pretty slim this year. Castleton COULD be a great team, and I venture to say better then Elmira IF they could get some discipline. But that starts from the top, and obviously from the way things panned out this weekend, that’s not going to happen any time soon. Hopefully with Bob being able to see Castleton 3 times this year, they will live up to their name and he won’t even consider them in 2012-2013. Id rather schedule a cup cake like Canton or St.Mikes then to worry about playing a team that would rather take cheap shots after a game, and a coach who obviously doesn’t care. Maybe if they were a little less worried about the fist pumps and more about playing the game the right way I’d have a different perspective.

no im not thats the way they play. look at the dirty shots they took at kyle thomas all nite. one was a nasty knee shot that could have ben a bad injury
but the castleton fans some how see it differnt

Kid that took the knee shot on Thomas was the same one that took out Duszynski last year.
