Shots: Morrisville 26, Elmira 59.....great night for Caylin Relkoff and the Mustangs. Really looking forward to tomorrow night's game.

1-0 Webb's cat (Olaf) 46 seconds in.

Breakout pass caught a forward splitting two defenders and he got away clean. Made a move to the left and Hamline's goalie bought it, then he moved the puck to the right and slid it into the mostly empty net

I can't help but be reminded of a quote by Morrisville's Coach that appeared in Russell Jaslow's SUNYAC Preview:

“At times in the past few years, we’ve showed we can compete with anyone, and then the next night stunk the joint up"

Tonight, they showed they, like every team in DIII, have the potential to compete with the "Big Boys." But that does not mean they can do it every night. Tomorrow night's game should be interesting! :cool:

.....perhaps a second chance pool for those unfortunates........and if MSOE drops one tonight...........we can have more participants in the 2nd chance thread than the LPS...:eek: :eek:

It'll be an interesting year for the Mustangs...saw the green & white game last week and they've got 3 freshman who can shoot. Second goalie, Mike Will, looked pretty good, too.

Wow. Geneseo blows it by letting two in with less than three minutes left in the game. Seems like it was a fairly even match up though. At least Geneseo held their own. Gives me hope for the rest of the season. :)

Well, that is how the NFL losers game started 4 years ago or so. Eagles lost the first week on MNF and half of the field was gone. I then started up the losers division where you had to have the team you picked lose in order to continue. (So you did not pick a team to lose, you picked them to win. But if they really did win, you were knocked out of the game. :D )
