Forfeiting May Be The Smart Move - Michigan Tech at UNO, Friday, Dec. 10

Re: Forfeiting May Be The Smart Move - Michigan Tech at UNO, Friday, Dec. 10

At least with this Thursday/Friday series we'll have the whole weekend to drink away the sweep.

agreed, at least that way the score would be 1-0...

I'm just gonna start drinking now...that should about do it

UNO lines, courtesy of Omaha blogger Chad Purcell:

Broadhurst-Martin-Ambroz
White-Purslow-Hudson
Searfoss-Montpetit-Walters
Gwidt-Willert-Simonson

Skarica-Sustr
Aneloski-Olimb
Young-Ensign

Faulkner

Dirk may have the Tech lines later, if he feels like it. :p

EDIT: Sounds like Genoe will go tonight, which I expected after Robo allowed that soft fifth goal last night.

Anyone in the cities want to just go with the assumption that tech will lose now, save some time and go to the bar now? Drinking is the best plan during a Snownami.

Doritos on crutches but no cast

Dirk announces the Tech lineup too fast. Just assume everyone who is healthy is playing and you can probably figure it out. :p

Russell:

-Faceoffs have to be better. Only 25% last night.
-Johnstone played well, but switching the lines a bit.
-Rix will get a shot at first line center, which he played in the AJHL, to try and shore up the faceoffs

-Need to backcheck better
-An unnamed defenseman will play limited minutes due to injury
-Seigo and Cousens will play a lot of minutes tonight, and have to step up

It has nothing to do with this game, but holy ****, Duluth's power play is crazy good.

I sign up for the NHL network, in anticipation of the WJC, today. And the first game that is on is the god**** ****ing red wings. **** this. Thank christ the gopher game is on.

Re: Forfeiting May Be The Smart Move - Michigan Tech at UNO, Friday, Dec. 10

ok, so from what i've heard so far, the unnamed defenseman that's hurt is Nielson...just an educated guess from what I heard and how much he's played tonight
