pretty much totally disgusting. the only time we are competitive is when the other team doesn't try.

15 loses in a row lost, 16 winless. The current Tech records that we are (obviously) aiming for are:
1951-52: 16 consecutive losses
1997-98: 19 winless

Anyone know the NCAA D1 Hockey records

I know Anchorage back in '02-'03 won their first game, and then went winless the rest of the season. That was a 35 game winless streak.

That isn't fair. If we suck, I want them to be the best at it.

I know that we own the record for most losses in a single season with 34 (1999-2000). Not even the 02-03 Anchorage team came close (28 losses), though they did finish that season with a 16-game losing skid (their longest that year). It ended with a win over Fairbanks to start the 03-04 season.

You'll have to stretch it into next year then. What's funny is that Anchorage won 14 games the following year, made a trip to the Final Five, won the play-in game and wound up placing 4th.

Looking through some other team's histories, CC went 0-23 in '61-'62. They were 4-20 the year before and 12-11 the year after, so not sure how long their losing streak actually was.

Upon first glance, Ohio State went 5-30-2 in '92-93. There were some horrid Notre Dame and Alaska-Fairbanks teams in that time span as well, but they didn't hit 30 losses, and neither did the horrible LSSU teams in the last 10 years.

And although Merrimack hasn't had a winning record since 1988-89 (:eek:), they haven't touched 30 losses in a season, either.
