First Half Thoughts

Re: First Half Thoughts

Joe, when are Uganda get that all the references before this were Scandinavian countries (Estonia considers itself the fifth Scandinavian nation), or at least Baltic countries (so your Russian remark works :), but the rest of your geographic references are all Turkeys
I'm in Maryland, a much more climate diverse area than the parts that make maple syrup for the pancakes of our land.

Just for that, I'm going to Jordan a new thread! :)

Our climate is a little Chile, especially today.

Re: First Half Thoughts

Play solid d-zone and play full-throttle every second of the game. Something comparable to what we did to UW-River Falls last Friday would be fine from during the 2nd half of the schedule.

Re: First Half Thoughts

Well that would just be foolish. Only thing I've been saying about Point is that the 0-7 start in the NCHA was no reason for a meltdown by the Pointer faithful. Not the most desirable start obviously, but with 12-14 freshmen in the lineup at times some rough goings are inevitable. Look how long it took Scholastica to finally break through with that big class it had...was about four years. For good reason coaches are never patient and want immediate results, but sometimes it takes a while. I think Point right now is quite similar to that 05-06 CSS team...it should be interesting to see if its future path mirrors that of the Saints between then and now.

Save this post... In reading it I think this is a correct statement, the 05-06 CSS class was pretty darn stellar and now they are reaping those rewards as great progress was made the past 2 seasons and into this season.
