Fire Walt Kyle (nmu Is Going To The Pits!)

Walt Kyle, Bob Daniels, and Jim Roque are all the elder coaches in the WCHA.

I wish people would stop calling the WCHA the nWCHA.

It has been called the WCHA. For sixty something years keep it that way.

Hope to see WCHA fans at Mickys Diner two years when the WCHA Championship is in St Paul.
It is a new WCHA, especially to NMU fans since only Tech and Anchorage remain from our earlier stint. But you're on for Mickey's and maybe Great Waters too!

Re: Fire Walt Kyle (nmu Is Going To The Pits!)

If Walt Kyle wasn't fired for bike-gate, he sure isn't going to be sent packing anytime soon.

Re: Fire Walt Kyle (nmu Is Going To The Pits!)

Is it true Truth interviewed as an Asisistant Coach at NMU and obviously didn't get the job?
There is much speculation about who the Truths may be, but none of the possibilities I've heard could even remotely be considered college hockey coaching material.

Re: Fire Walt Kyle (nmu Is Going To The Pits!)

What ever are we going to do without the troll that puts hidden autoplay vuvuzelas in his sig?:p

Re: Fire Walt Kyle (nmu Is Going To The Pits!)

Players basically were using stolen bikes to get to practice. Not sure how many of them actually stole them though. I believe that they painted them as well.

Re: Fire Walt Kyle (nmu Is Going To The Pits!)

Good Question? Ask the new compliance official?
It was my understanding the "old" compliance lady was reinstated along with the coach.
Something kinda sorta fishy that Walt says it was his personal problems and the lady is suspended at the same time.
But with "Joe Hazelwood" at the helm, who knows?
He's been known to steer a "crooked" course.
