Re: Fire Don Adam!!!!!!
Oh, would you guys hate me.
I doubt it and here's why:
1. You don't pretend to not have a bias. You are a Gopher fan and everyone knows it. So, both sides know what they're getting.
2. I doubt you'd enforce parity by calling the better team more than the lesser team.
3. Home cooking to you is undoubtedly something the wife/mother/mother-in-law (maybe) cooks up not something that occurs at a sporting event.
4. I'd pray for consistency, for sure, but at least you'd be more consistent than Don Adam.
So, there you go.
Oh, and to modify a Lucia quote: "How come when a hit-related injury involving UND occurs, does Don Adam always seem to be the official that misses it?"
Todd Anderson might not know the understanding of Interference as a penalty, but I've never met an official who didn't understand CFB majors could cause injury. Anderson sucks as an official, but Adam is 1 million times worse because he blows calls, sure, but he tends to blow calls that result in unsafe playing situations. So, when Adam is on the ice, I, as a fan, am now worrying which Sioux or opposing player for that matter is going to get injured.
I think Motzko pulled Marvin not because of the hit. I think he pulled him because to not do so would have invited potential injury without any recourse or protection from the officials. A wise move.
Remember: Don Adam is the guy in stripes you don't want to hear is officiating your game... especially when you don't have health care coverage.
