As bad as Dick has been I wouldn't trade Dick for Red plus Maines two best players. As far as the idea of this team posting a second half like NU's - you need talented players (more than three) to pull that off so it's a mute point...

It does pick me up a little bit knowing you guys have a worse coach and less talent...

There is nothing more "over compensating" than excitedly pointing out typos on the Internet...

Not hatred, relief - it could be much worse for UNH and thankfully it is not...

Moot to mute is a typo ? I think they call that a misunderstanding of the English language.:) But you're right, you could be worse, you could be without hardware.... oh wait....:D

Yes, when I type in my phone I often make many mistakes, including typos, brain cramps and autocorrects. I'm such an embarrassment!

You don't make typos and you root for a team with two rusting and aging trophies (that you cheated to win) - you are an amazing man...

More trophies than goals you could regularly expect the current team to score in a game - must be fun to watch hockey up there these days!

Rusting trophys ?? Nah, we have them inside a thing called a trophy case.... you should build one some day, (assuming of course you can find something to put in it) :D

10 wins in the regular season...he is the highest paid employee in the state, he does not deserve something in the ball park of $40K per win. He is 67...let's have him "retire". Dear God, please!

He is not the highest paid employee in the state. He's not the highest paid employee in the USNH. He's not even the highest paid coach at UNH.

Who do you think makes more money than Umile?

The latest information I can find is from last August. Where Umile is reported to have made $242,780 in 2014. You are right that he not the highest paid USNH employee, I misspoke on that. However, at that time he was 11th. And he is also the highest paid coach, with Coach McDonnell in second earning $223,860.

Considering Coash McDonnell seems to reach the same amount of wins but with much fewer games you can see my frustration with the crap Umile has put out there recently...

I thought coaching was a results based business;)

With all the money these people make no wonder tuitions are off the chart!

Actually, what you heard was probably correct about a decade ago, when DU was still getting his teams to the NCAAs. His really big salary year included deferred payments from his deal not to bolt for UMass-Amherst, I think.
