I'm a man, and I'm the one dreaming.

And FIFA isn't the most trustworthy source but I don't think they would put a bunch of women's soccer players in motion capture suits and make a game trailer with women in it just as an elaborate lie lol

I don't believe anything coming from FIFA. Fortunately, the original press release was from EA Sports.

Hope all of us that enjoy women's sports are ready for the Women's World Cup! Glad that Fox Sports is covering the tournament...maybe our hockey will be next....one can only hope! Enjoy everyone.....

Yes pleasantly surprised with the Coverage of the Women's FIFAS world-cup on both sides of the border. Kudos to our host nation for filling the stands as well. 52000 for the opening match in Edmondon. About 21000 yesterday in Ottawa for two games that were essentially blowouts. German's Mannschaft (or is that Frauenschaft ?) looked very impressive.

P.S...Looked it up. It is called "Mannschaft der Frauen".

Some great games! USA-Australia starting now but how about the hors d'oerves of Nigeria tying Sweden? Good stuff...

Was at both games.

Nigeria has very deceptive speed (but no defence) which created nightmares for Sweden the entire game. That was a disaster for Sweden ranked #5 and Nigeria ranked #33!

Unfortunately for Australia the first US goal was fluky but she took the shot. Australia started leaking oil with about 15-20 minutes left in the game and you could see the rest coming. A great set up by Leroux for the second US goal. (And one or two great saves by Solo). Don't know what Canada was thinking a few years back when she failed to make the national team.

Quite a global atmosphere. US plates from as far away as Alaska!!, Texas, North Carolina and Massachusetts.

Attendance was 31K+.
