Now that i find surprising. Watching this i would have said that the shots were almost 2 to 1 FSU. Certainly they have had the better chances. If we get out of this with a tie we should run into the dressing room and count ourselves as fortunate.

Doc, we are thinking too much when we have the puck. Last night, the puck was moving as soon as it touched a players stick, tonight they are trying to hard to make a play.
The one good thing about the game so far is that we are not making it easy for Ferris State. We are playing a tough game and getting in the way.

Ferris probably has had better chances, we just tend have a problem with getting the shot on net.

And we had a power play because? We sure are turning over the puck a ton today-much more than we did yesterday

It was only a matter of time FSU gets number 2 and leads 2-1 just too many poor clearings and turnovers.

And we go to OT. It seems we did a lot of waiting for the puck to come to us tonight instead of skating to the puck. FSU was aep ahead in most of those situations.

Game ends 2-2.
Have to be very happy with three points this weekend against a quality opponent.

And it ends in a tie-if it is any consolation-we were the better team in the OT. A decent result for us. I do not think we were at aour best for this entire game. Lots of poor turnovers and weak clearing passes. Merriam was very good when he had to be and cannot be faulted at all. One thing noted-our D men at the point seem more often than not, to be on their off hand. They appear to be on their back hand more than forehand and are certainly not in position to take quick shots. This might have been ananomoly but it was there tonight. This is a very good FSU team-they will win a lot of games. Getting a win and a tie with them-i am a very happy camper since i did not expect any of this. Now it is off to Minnesota State and a chance to bond a bit on the road. This has been a very pleasant start to the season and demonstrated how well this team could play and a little indication of what we can expect for the season.

I am superstitious and i too am glad FJ did the honors. In 1985 I dressed in the same outfit every game once we started a winning streak (I believe we were 3-2 at the time). It got so bad that I even prepared to go to each game at the exact same time and in the same sequence and ate and drank the same things.
