Yeah they are the best in nation, glad you knew about them!!
BTW.. i am Ferris fan since I was born, I will always follows Bulldogs sports until I die, no matter where I am, I will always check and try to catch couples games, either on TV or in person.
So I think I am qualified to discuss about Ferris Hockey on where they are at right now.

Cooper Zech signed with AHL team under Boston Bruins, there is couple reports out there stating that Zech want out of FSU... that he did not like the direction FSU is going to, That s mean Bob Daniels needs to go!! We are not great team and didn't have good players sticking around... we need a new fresh start!! Hopefully soon than later

That is a blow as he was a good player.
The question still stands, who is FSU going to get that is better? Tech's coach has a lot of respect for Daniels, how he conducts business, and how well coached his teams are.
I don't know all the ins and outs of everywhere, but FSU's barn leaves a lot to be desired. I would imagine the facilities could use an updated/expansion as well.

We had someone like this on the NMU threads for a bit. Had no idea on a replacement, or how to make the team better, but was adamant the AD should fire Walt Kyle. The poster left when Kyle's contract ran out.

Not knowing who would be the replacement is not a valid reason for rejecting change when change is needed. If Daniels is not getting the job done, and there appears to be a very valid argument that this is the case, then the responsible thing for FSU administration to do is go in different direction. There are plenty of qualified coaches out there in assistant roles, in USHL roles, and at the D3 level that are very good coaches, and they'll apply. So, who knows who the replacement will be, that is irrelevant at this point, you have to trust that the process will land a solid replacement.

Your example is actually in favor of the FSU poster's assertion that they should fire Daniels. Not knowing who the replacement is not a good excuse. Did you, or any other NMU fan think that Potulny would be the next coach when Kyle was fired? No, he wasn't on the radar. In hindsight, was it a good move to make? **** yes, it was.

Well, there is also this. Yes, Ferris needs a new rink or a major renovation. And at the cost of a renovation that would actually fix that rink, they may as well build a new one completely.

The #1 question in Big Rapids should be whether or not the school is committed to supporting the program at a level necessary to be a strong D1 team. If the administration is not willing to make that investment, is there a better coach out there that would want to come into that situation? The Alaska schools didn't exactly have an easy time attracting coaches with their support level in question.
Bottom line is that if the school doesn't buy into the program it won't matter at all who is behind the bench.

Daniels is a **** good coach. He has proven that and has a long track record to back that up. It may be that his tenure has run it's course, but I think he can still be successful at FSU.

Doubtful. But, UMD got a rink done without a Pegula, Bemidji did too. NMU got a new rink not all that long ago. It is possible for an established program to get improved facilities, but it is not easy.

Why would a top USHL take a pay cut and a cut in resources to move from a top program in his league to Ferris?
NMU got a new rink 20 years ago with a major investment from John Berry.
