Not knowing who would be the replacement is not a valid reason for rejecting change when change is needed. If Daniels is not getting the job done, and there appears to be a very valid argument that this is the case, then the responsible thing for FSU administration to do is go in different direction. There are plenty of qualified coaches out there in assistant roles, in USHL roles, and at the D3 level that are very good coaches, and they'll apply. So, who knows who the replacement will be, that is irrelevant at this point, you have to trust that the process will land a solid replacement.
