Here we go
I know it's early, but who is making you look good and bad so far this season. Here are mine:

AL 12 team 4x4 league
Studs:
Russell Martin (.324, 3 HRS. 8 RBI, 2 SB)

You and I are pleased with Konerko again today. Tulowitzki's been disappointing.
I drafted all offense first, but happily, Edwin Jackson and Ian Kennedy have been carrying my pitching staff.

Deeeeep AL Only league dilemma:

Do I start Chris Tillman this week (2 starts, MIN, NYY) or 1 start of Phil Coke (@ SEA, tasty) and 1 start of Fausto Carmona (@ MIN)? I'm leaning towards taking the Coke and Carmona starts, and sitting Tillman. I don't think he'll rack up enough K's to make the ERA hit worth it (and I don't see him getting a W or QS).

Just made this trade - Josh Hamilton straight up for Carl Crawford. 12 team AL only league. The guy is dumping early.

I just took a look at my team's performance to this point in the season. Some highlights (Jose Bautista, Jose Reyes, Cole Hamels, Chris Perez) but wow is that batting average column awful:

Placido Polanco (2B/3B PHI) 46 hits, .365 AVG 21 RBI
Alex Gordon (3B-OF. KC): 42 hits, .316 AVG (picked him in the late rounds).
Jaime Garcia (SP- STL) 4 Wins, 2 Shutouts, 1.99 ERA 0.97 WHIP
Gio Gonzalez (SP OAK) 4 Wins, 41 Ks, 2.68 ERA 1.31 WHIP

Duds:
Ian Kinsler (2B-TX) 27 Hits, 5 Homeruns, .216 AVG
Hanley Ramirez (SS- FLA): 22 Hits, .195 AVG 1 HR 12 RBI

So I have some interesting decisions

10 AL only 5x4
I'm in 7th place - but only 9 points out of the money. My team has not been healthy all year. I've lost games from Hamilton, Kendrick, Phil Hughes, Jeff Niemann, Rajai Davis, and had Joaquin Soria (temporarily it seems) lose his closer role. Should I consider dumping? Guys like Verlander, Youkilis and Hamilton could get a lot for next year. On the other hand, part of me thinks that if my team only got healthy I have a chance at making a run.

12 team AL 4x4
This is a bit tougher. I'm leading the league - but my pitching staff is in rough shape outside of Heran, Mariano, and Pineda. I have some guys that could bring in some pitching help that are good for this year and potential keepers. One guy gave me a list of players we was interested in. He seems to think he can get a piece of Longoria or Price with some of his players - but the only one he mentioned that should get that level is Granderson or Cabrera.

Do you think that a trade of Alex Gorden and Random pitcher (Outman, Hochevar are best bets) for Michael Cuddyer and Scott Baker is a fair offer or should I look for something better?

I nade the trade of Gordon and Outman for Cuddyer and Baker.

Now made an offer of Pineda/Baker for Sabathia/Verlander. Essentially keepers for non-keepers.

Probably. You might be able to trade him to a last place team as a keeper. I'm considering doing that as I have a team near the bottom.

Francisco Liriano has gone from a dud to a stud recently. He has a sub-2.00 ERA in his last 6 starts, after having an ERA over 10 after his first 5. Conveniently, I traded for him after his 5th start. :)
