I can't argue with results and there's no denying that the ECAC had a helluva year, and not just in the playoffs. Consider my cap tipped.

There is no doubt whatsoever which conference has laid its claim as the best on the ice right now.

Well, it took our league 23 years to get any team back to the NCAA finals, so we made up for lost time and sent two teams. Congrats. to both Q'Pac and Yale.

The ECAC and the NCAA's

Year, #Teams, Teams, Combined Record, (number made it to the FF)

2011 2 ECAC teams made it, Union and Yale, combined record in NCAA 1-2, number in FF (0)
2012 2 ECAC teams made it, Union and Cornell, combined record in NCAA 3-2, number in FF (1)
2013 3 ECAC teams made it, Union and Yale and Quinnipiac, combined record in NCAA 8-2, number in FF (2)

Looks like progress .... :)

What about 2014 ?

Really? Thats just a dumb post. Any given day, anyone can win. Yale goalie played great all game long, and shut Quinnipiac down in the first two periods when they needed to.

The third place team that just beat three number-one seeds and a two seed to win the National Championship is "weak?"

If you actually think that, YOU'RE weak.

Yale beat the #1, #2, and #3 hockey teams in the nation in this tournament. Ask those teams if they think Yale is weak.

Well, clearly by 2016 we will have 5 teams in the Frozen Four. ;)
