ESPN sucks

Re: ESPN sucks

I don't know why but they don't show anything live that really ****es me off.

Because with the internets if you aren't watching live it is almost unpossible to stay ignorant of a result if you watch it later.

The internet is one thing, but if you record the game and watch it later, it IS impossible because the scores are constantly scrolling across the bottom of the screen. At least if they put them up every ten minutes or so, we could turn away for the 30 seconds that they're are on...

Just FYI, viewership was 541,000 for the championship game.

I created a spreadsheet with just the championship game figures taken directly from the NCAA for 1995 through 2015 in a post on the Women's Championship draws more viewers than last year's Men's Title Game thread. According to the NCAA stats the numbers you posted are a mix of viewers (2014-15) and households (2009-13). Maybe the NCAA numbers are wrong, but I'm using them since they also show the actual rating numbers as well and appear to be more likely accurate.

Re: ESPN sucks

Frozen Four title game ratings dip again, but hit good numbers on ESPN2

Once again the viewing figures are being mixed up with households and nowhere in the article were the actual rating figures mentioned. According to the NCAA the highest rated game in the past decade was the 2009 BU-Miami championship game as it had the highest overall rating, cable rating, households and viewers. So far I've only seen viewers reported for this year's FF, not ratings, cable rating or households.
