I call this the consequences of a world where Republicans have successfully redefined 1A as applicable to all speech, even hate speech. I don't know what the answer is, but I am wary of arresting and jailing people for it. I prefer when the phobes self-identify. Such as the gentleman (using that term loosely) I was just seated next to on my flight back from Montana. In addition to being a demanding PITA to the FA, he asked me where I was headed and when I said Detroit, the inevitable commentary began. I went there once, but it was closed. Have they defunded all the police yet? How's the murder rate? Maybe they ran them all over to Canada!
