Had Disgruntled's Reaper on tap today at Ansari's in Eagan. Delicious.

Left Hand Brewing Nitro Milk Stout. Easily my favorite stout, and it's available in 6 packs now.

However, I drank it out of the bottle and it didn't feel right.

Yes, next time I'm at Meijer, I will pick up beer glasses. Do I need a particular type of glass, or will any good pint glass do?

Any pint glass, but basically just turn the bottle upside down over the glass. No slow pour at all. Just dump it into the glass.

Supported my store and their Sunday Sales stance by buying a Southern Tier Thick Mint (choc mint stout) and Lift Bridge Mango Blonde (self-explanatory style). My local brewery shared a couple things, too, for the heckuvit.

I showed SB's post to the brewers at a local brewery, and they almost cried. I know SB didn't know any better, honestly. But I will say, that beer has instructions on the bottle: Pour hard.

I get it, but that nitro post.....*sigh* I actually had to teach the bartender at the Xcel how to pour a nitro, a couple years ago. For real.

Local brewery (Hammerheart, Lino Lakes) is having a bottle release next week. Rye-barrel aged stout, and a smoked hefeweizen. I actually have had the former, last week, they dropped off a howler at a local place to promo it, and owner decided to share with customers. It's delicious and dangerous.

There's a small brewery around Tampa that made one a while back, had it out at a bar with some friends back in May. Agreed, taking the best tasting girl scout cookie (Don't @ me.) and turning it into a beer... Well, hard to go wrong.

Perennial Artisan Ales (Missouri) 17 also is a chocolate mint beer, although that one was more of an Andes Mint taste, which is slightly different, but equally delicious. I think the Southern Tier one is a touch more "bready," hence the cookie comparison.
