This team is rolling. Chris Janzen is a brick wall. I’m enjoying this run because it hasn’t happened in awhile.

EC is sneaking up on people. Nobody is talking about them, but that's a team to be reckoned with.

Re: Elmira College

Elmira 8 Stevenson 2. The birds were buzzin last night.

Ran into some serious D-3 mavens at last night's UC game.

To a person, each was much more worried about Elmira than they were about Wilkes.

I am too.

Re: Elmira College

I agree Elmira is "the" team that concerns me for UC. They are the only team that could match UC's speed other than Adrian this year. Only concern if I'm Elmira is if a team shuts down their top line and keep them off the PP you should have a recipe for victory. See this coaching thing is easy!

I pretty-much agree, aside from the fact that EC is basically a one-line team.... (But, man, that's one great line.)

UC could lose-out in the silly conference tourney and still be easily in the NCAA's. On the other hand, EC has something to play for.

Ergo, I don't want to see them again, but I expect that I will.

Many say that losing is not scary and that the most important thing is participation. I agree with this only from the side that practice is useful. People who practice in studies, in sports always achieve success. Students who constantly practice completing study assignments may not use special sites ✏️ that help students with homework.

Definition of Irony: The only UCHC championship for EC, and none of us was able to see it. Perhaps we fans were the reason that EC under-performed all these years.

P.S. So EC swaps leagues, and has to establish a new set of rivalries (less Hobart). Not sure how many of these transitions a team can endure before losing all sense of identity.

Hobart and Norwich have developed one quickly in just 3 years.

I’m sure Elmira will still keep non-conference games with Utica and Oswego etc.

Perhaps, but why would Utica bother with Elmira, when they could schedule Oswego, Genny or Hobart instead?

EC hasn't been a contender for a while. Pretty sure that it wouldn't be worth the trip for either OSU or UC, in terms of the PWR.

Who says that an Elmira on the upswing are a bad matchup?
