Sometimes when I total the points for a week I think "what a waste of time" since often everyone is within a few point of each other. Not this week! This week's point ranged from 6 (two players) to 16 points (two players). Pioneers#1 and Caption Obvious each got only one game wrong (for Pioneers#1 it was the Neumann/Norwich game, for Caption Obvious it was the Cortland/Nazareth game) and picked two(!) correct scores. His 16 points shot Pioneers#1 way up the rankings (well, one place) and back into a commanding 9 point lead over LakerFan11, who unfortunately, for him, only picked up 6 points. While Pioneers#1 was distraught over no movement in his beloved Pioneers in last week's D-III polls, he is giddy over being back in 1st place. Some of us have learned a hard lesson this past week; polls just don't matter as they are opinions. What matters are facts. Facts like Pioneers#1 has again shown us that he is the one to chase in this game and the fact that, for the first time in Oswego's history they were swept by Utica College. Have a nice week!
