ECAC Semifinals & Finals: Albany, NY

Re: ECAC Semifinals & Finals: Albany, NY

They usually keep part of the upper bowl open for the bands, even though this year it's probably only Cornell's band, as Brown's band rarely if ever travels for hockey.

Kinkaid. With solid goaltending. Yes.

I really don't think it's that clear-cut. We can throw all the numbers at each other, but it just comes down to a gut decision. Either Kinkaid or Milan is worth starting. As Nate Leaman said, it's a good problem to have. I'm just glad I'm not the one making the decision. :p

Re: ECAC Semifinals & Finals: Albany, NY

This is hilarious. I think it's fantastic that I'm living rent-free in all y'all's minds, just by virtue of being blunt, honest, and right, and nothing more.

I'm getting my Tims mixed up.

TimU is the sane one.

Who's living in who's mind? I just moved into yours, I guess.

I don't wanna squat without paying appropriate rent, so here's $1.50 - sign me up for a year. And I know this is a pretty low-rent place but could ya turn down the heat and turn up the light? It's pretty dim in here.:D

Re: ECAC Semifinals & Finals: Albany, NY

Cornell's in the NCAAs already, and this seems to be the year of the underdog, so for at least the next 12 hours, what the heck: I'm a Brown fan.

Go Bears. If you ain't Brown . . .

LET'S GO SAINTS!!!!!

Oh the heck with it, start Pudge.

Re: ECAC Semifinals & Finals: Albany, NY

Just curious what the ideal teams would be for Albany attendance...

Cornell
Colgate
St. Lawrence
RPI

Would that be right?

Re: ECAC Semifinals & Finals: Albany, NY

I see. I was under the impression there were more SLU fans than Clarkson.

Re: ECAC Semifinals & Finals: Albany, NY

UNION vs. CORNELL for the ECAC Championship!

If Union wins, we get a bid to the NCAAs!
If Union loses, we don't get a bid to the NCAAs!
If Cornell wins, they get a bid to the NCAAs!
If Cornell loses, they get a bid to the NCAAs!

LET'S GO UNION DA DA DADADA!!!

Brown's band was there.

Re: ECAC Semifinals & Finals: Albany, NY

No probably Cornell, Clarkson, RPI and I guess Union.

Colgate and SLU usually bring good crowds, though not to the extent that Cornell and Clarkson have. Quinnipiac brought a large number in 2007, especially for the championship game and I imagine they'd bring a decent number in the future (oh...wait...never mind).

Based on Union's contingent last night, imagine if the students weren't on break.

Re: ECAC Semifinals & Finals: Albany, NY

I can't seem to find a Cornell season thread, so I'd like to offer my congratulations here, and hope some Big Red fans see it. We play the same style hockey, but, as I said earlier, you guys execute it better and have better players. I'll cheer for you in the NCAAs, but I like Union too much to root against them tonight.

Sounds like Union brought a good crowd! I didn't watch the game, but that's good news, since everyone was skeptical. Can anyone tell me what Brown's contingent was like? It was hard to tell on TV, since we didn't score.

Also, is the consolation on TV? That'd be kind of disappointing if it weren't.

Ditto what kdiff said. Looking forward to the Frozen Four.
