At the end of one at Lynah, Cornell 0, Clarkson 0. Both teams had some good chances, but goalies saved.

5 minutes on Joakim Ryan and game misconduct (coming off the bench to fight); McPherson 2 minutes and game misconduct; McCarron 2 minutes & game misconduct. Cornell down to four defensemen. Clarkson 5 on 4 for 5 minutes. OR Not. Cornell announcers confused.

Refs totally confused. Ryan plays for :52 seconds after given the 5 minute penalty. Ferlin in the box. Clarkson is on PP.

Gotovets returns from locker room. To play? Refs still jawing. Alex Dell appears to be totally confused. Now major penalty has disappeared from scoreboard. Ferlin serving McCarron's penalty. The delay goes on and on.

Ferlin leaves the penalty box having spent :52 seconds. McPherson now awarded 5 minute and game misconduct. And Joakim Ryan has no penalty at all. 5 on 5.

McCarron got a game DQ, not a misconduct, so he's gone for tomorrow's game against SLU as well.

I been watching hockey for over 30 years and I have never seen two refs that were more confused and have never seen anything like a PP being stopped part way through. Wild.
