ECAC -- Saturday 2/5

Re: ECAC -- Saturday 2/5

We don't usually come back like that. Thanks goodness we were playing at home.

It was a weird game. We dominated for most of it, but SLU worked hard when they needed to and capitalized. Even with our history I still thought we could come back with 10 minutes to play and... huh. We had a TON of great chances and kept our heads, and then got a little lucky on the Birch goal that made it 3-2. Joe Devin and Greg Miller had amazing games. IINM Joe Devin now has sole lead in goals in ECAC play with 11. I can't think of the last time a Cornell player led the ECAC in goals scored -- it might have been Nieuwendyk.
