ECAC QF Game 3 -- Sunday, March 13

Re: ECAC QF Game 3 -- Sunday, March 13

Union gets the officiating usually reserved for RPI, though last week the officiating was pretty even.
Btw congrats gate, pulling out 4 wins in tough buildings

If Colgate wins, they have to be lowest seed to make it to the last 4???

UVM as a 10 beat #1 Clarkson back when 6 teams went to the next round, but....

Only 10 teams made the playoffs back then, if I'm not mistaken.

I think this refers to 2001, when yes 10 teams made the playoffs and 5 advanced to Placid. Vermont lost to Dartmouth, who lost to SLU in the semis that year. Clarkson got to receive their regular season trophy at Placid in an awkward/embarrassing on ice moment.

The ECAC this year continues to be the CrazyAC. Raiders thanks for knocking off Union, who skunked Cornell this year. Go for one more, since the Big Red haven't beat Yale in living memory. :o

GO BIG RED!
