ECAC QF Game 1 -- Friday, March 11

Re: ECAC QF Game 1 -- Friday, March 11

End of 1: 2-1 Ylae.

SLU's very much in it.
The NC's favorite high school team is being cheered on by the perplexed transplanted Potsdamites.
Inside joke, Tim.. Don't take it seriously. Saints17 and I had a good laugh over it on the D-III chat room on Thursday

Re: ECAC QF Game 1 -- Friday, March 11

SOG after 1 9-8 SLU

Ylae 2 for 2 on the PP

SLU 0 for 1, and has about 30 seconds of PP time left to start the 2nd.

Hey Joe!!!

Yeah, Brian told us about that and I went over and checked it out. Pretty funny.

At Lynah the official shots were 20-5 Quinnipiac, but in all honesty I thought Cornell had more good chances.

Some advice: stay outta the box. ;)

(I know -- being two steps behind the play leads to penalties. The whole league has had that problem against Yale for 3 years now.)

We then added up the national championships for the NC schools. Canton beat Potsdam alot to 2.

After 1, 2-1 Harvard. SOG 13-10 Dartmouth. Early PP goal for Harvard, both score on a 4 on 4.

NOW you tell us. :)

They've got the speed to keep up, but Ylae's got enough skill to make you chase.

Guess what? You guessed it: St. Lawrence penalty. Uh oh.

Re: ECAC QF Game 1 -- Friday, March 11

This is ridiculous.

Ylae is now THREE FOR THREE on the PP.

SLU was packing it in on the PK - I think they're going to have to start pressuring the points. Or just stay out of the **** box (although at least one of the first two penalties was not a good call).

Re: ECAC QF Game 1 -- Friday, March 11

Ylae has been cherry picking, and they just got a breakaway. Weninger with the save on O'Neill.
