Now I know why we play the games. Brown played a steady game and we just never got into it.
Still not over, we can come back after this loss. Certainly, we are good enough to win two in a row against Brown, but we still have to go out and do it.

Brown just waited until the opportunities arose. We made a couple of bad mistakes in our zone in the third period-and that was the game. I never feel comfortable with York leaving the crease or handling the puck much. He is a fine goalie but he needs work on handling the puck. Brown just played their game and we could not put up anything on the scoreboard to change that style of play.

Doc - Our defenseman can't get out of their own way on clears...York is doing what Appert is asking him to do...get out and slow the puck down. Brown was sending two deep all night and our d-men couldn't handle it...o
RPI never had any interest in going blow for blow with Brown tonight...IMO. When D'Amigo is your biggest physical presence on the ice, something is missing. I'm not going to rehash here, but it was not a playoff effort from RPI tonight. Seth had to call a timeout about 4 minutes into the second period...that tells you everything you need to know about intensity and attitude. The boys need to defend their barn like their momma's life depends on it ..it needs to be that personal, IMO.
