ECAC Pick The Standings 2014-2015 Season

With only 1 weekend to go in the Regular Season, DrDemento and JennyRN continue as 1 and 2 in the contest with DrD increasing his lead to 8 points. The Random Number has dropped again to 13th, Mr Last Year has moved into a tie with The Fan Average in 44th place. At the other end of the standings lugnut92 remains in sole possession of 74th.

There are still a number of changes to the standings that could (and probably will) occur next weekend so Doc I would not get fitted for that DeGrisogono http://www.degrisogono.com/en/#/product-collection/instrumento-grande-chrono/51 just yet. :D

And this is my annual reminder that I will be running my ECAC Pick The Playoffs once again this year. Look for the thread sometime Saturday night after the close of the Regular Season.

Vic: An 8 point lead is just not very comfortable yet. Too many things can change on the last weekend. It would be nice, however if all 12 teams lost both games due to disqualifications.;)

Thanks for the update Vic. Before last night, my lead over Jen was 8 points and now it is six. It is by no means a safe distance. I never expected that on the last night in the ECAC league play, so many games will mean nothing to nobody. Teams playing out the string could really jumble things up. I can almost feel that DeGrisogono around my wrist already but if things change, I can also see myself driving over to the bank to cash in a jumbo CD for that Bvlgari diamond Trika:eek:.

I don't really follow this thread, but congrats to you and Jenny on finishing 1-2, and if you're going to finish second you couldn't lose to a better person!
Lugnut must have picked RPI and Union to finish first and second...

I picked SLU third, RPI dead last, and I'm towards the bottom.

If i win, my choice is easy to find(and quite expensive). But if Jenny wins, that watch was made by Bvlgari in very limited numbers(they made 3 variants of it, but the one she wants is of course the rarest). A jumbo CD will cover it if I can bid well at Sothebys or Christies. Tonight could be a very expensive evening for me.

Hope you are sitting down Doc. You can keep that jumbo CD in the bank. Congrats to the 2014-2105 ECAC Pick the Standings champion DrDemento. JennyRN I think Doc could at least spring for a nice dinner out at your favorite restaurant for your 2nd place finish ;) and given the fact that you predicted out of all the contestants the most correct finishes of all the teams with 6 correct (Doc only had 1 correct finish but he was only off by 1 on 6 others). The Random Number has finished 23rd, Mr Last Year dropped into a tie for 51st and The Fan Average finished in a tie for 45th place. At the other end of the standings lugnut92 claimed last place.

In other stats, SLU, and UNION were the 2 teams that cost the contestants the most points on the average in the contest. See the next table.

Vic: Thanks for running the contest. As i mentioned to you privately, I dedicated this contest to my daughter who was an avid RPI fan. Finishing first this year means so much to me I cannot put into words. Finishing ahead of Jenny gives me bragging rights for the first time in memory. And of course, that DeGrisogono is going to look just fabulous on my wrist(I have changed the one I want though). Best regards DrD (#1) and Jenny(#2)

Dude: After 40+ years i can assure you, i never win against her and the best i can hope for is a tie. But it matters little as I know from what we went through this past year, I would not be here without her.
