ECAC Pick The Standings 2009-2010

Re: ECAC Pick The Standings 2009-2010

My original picks were:

1. Yale -- they lost Richards but bring back Backman, Arcobello, and other contributors
2. Cornell -- because they always find a way to be in the top four
3. Princeton -- they only lost 3 players to graduation and still have Kalemba for 1 more year
4. Harvard -- a great incoming class and the #18 overall pick in this year's NHL draft should catapult them in the right direction
5. Colgate -- a bit of a homer pick, with key players returning and a great incoming class, they should improve
6. RPI -- they beat Cornell at Lynah last March. But they've still got some ways to go.
7. Clarkson -- would have picked them 4th, but after the drama going on, it may cause them to "slip up"
8. Union -- they return some key players, but also lost some. Milan will be the key to 1st round home ice
9. Quinnipiac -- have Wong back, but questions in net will bump them out of 1st round home ice
10. Dartmouth -- have some talent, but still got a long way to go
11. St. Lawrence -- they lost a lot to graduation and will face situations similar to those Colgate faced last year
12. Brown -- they can't fall any further, but they're program is on the road to nowhere

I am revising my picks to:

1. Yale
2. Cornell
3. Princeton
4. Harvard
5. Union
6. Colgate
7. Clarkson
8. Dartmouth
9. RPI
10. Quinnipiac
11. St. Lawrence
12. Brown

First post was wrong. You have until this Friday when the puck drops for the Hahvad-Sartmouth game to get or change your picks. Only 2 days left.

A little over 12 hours to go people. Get your picks in. And a bump.

Re: ECAC Pick The Standings 2009-2010

Hmmm. I think my Clarkson pick (#12) is going to sink my chances. Ah well, I'm going to stand pat and let the chips fall where they may rather than revising... Stick to your guns, I say!
