ECAC Pick The Playoffs 2014

Re: ECAC Pick The Playoffs 2014

Thanks, Vic, for doing this. Here's my guesses:

Clarkson 2-0
Yale 2-0
Dartmouth 2-1
SLU 2-0

Re: ECAC Pick The Playoffs 2014

Clarkson is certainly being considered a prohibitive favorite here on the this thread. I am not sure I can recall a shutout vote with so many 2-0 sweeps predicted. I called it that way myself but I have been to Baker rink enough times to watch Princeton over the years and consider the Tigers almost as difficult to figure out as the Engineers. Princeton sometimes is indeed like a box of chocolates-you just never know what you are going to get. Horrible this year for sure-but sometimes they just seem to find a way to match up. Nothing would surprise me.

I polled several college hockey media members, including ESPN's John Buccigross and USCHO's own Nate Owen, and collected their predictions for the entire ECAC Hockey playoffs.

Interesting. Unless the actual person places their picks here, I don't include them in the contest (this includes you). This is in honor of Ken Schott. :(

I agree. I think the Clarkson-Princeton series will have close games with either team having a chance at moving on. BTW, have you gotten Jenny anything yet for beating you in the ECAC Pick The Standings Contest ;) .

That started off nice and then "Dartmouth in 3, Dartmouth in 3, Dartmouth in 3..."

Re: ECAC Pick The Playoffs 2014

Hey, it is inevitable...someone has to finish last!

It looks like I've done my best on that score, from what I'm seeing...:(
