ECAC Pick The Playoffs 2014

OK for all you losers in the ECAC Pick the Standings Contest here is your chance to redeem yourselves :) .

Congrats to the Cleary Cup winning Union Dutchmen. Union, Colgate, Quinnipiac and Cornell have the Byes for the opening round.

Here is how the contest is played. Round 1.
Pick who you think will win each of the first round playoff series and what the game count will be.
As an example:
Harvard vs Yale. Harvard 2-1 or Harvard 2-0 or Yale 2-1 or Yale 2-0

"You get a point for picking the correct winner of the series and a point for each correct total wins for each team.
Max first round point total per series is 4."

If Harvard wins 2-0 and you pick them to win 2-0 you get 4 points, 1 for Harvard as the series winner, 2 for each Harvard win and 1 for picking Yale to not win a game.
If Harvard wins 2-1 and you pick them to win 2-0 you get 3 points
If Harvard wins 2-0 and you pick Yale to win 2-1 you get 1 point
If Harvard wins 2-0 and you pick Yale to win 2-0 you get 0 points.

"So here are the first round matchups: PLEASE KEEP YOUR PICKS IN THIS EXACT ORDER AS IT IS EASIER FOR ME TO ENTER THESE IN MY EXCEL SPREAD SHEET TO KEEP SCORE.
Please use the real team names when you enter your picks.
Hopefully the first poster will have the order right and everyone can follow after him/her."

#11 Harvard @ #6 Yale
#10 Dartmouth @ #7 RPI
#9 Brown @ #8 SLU

Clarkson 2-0
Yale 2-1

I highly doubt I will be getting anything close to the score I got last year, but here goes.

#12 Princeton @ # 5 Clarkson: Sorry, Kepler, but I'm going to go against your laws of the ECAC this time. Clarkson in 3.
#11 Harvard @ #6 Yale: This one's actually a little tough, but I'll go for Yale in 3.
#10 Dartmouth @ #7 RPI: It's just one of those visceral gut things... Dartmouth in 3.
#9 Brown @ #8 SLU: The laws have been slightly modified: Never bet on Brown in the regular season, but never bet against them in the playoffs. Brown in 3.

Me too. I'm not so much picking Clarkson as recognizing the smoking ruin of Princeton.
