A side note, I had several ECAC media members pick the entire playoffs and you can see their picks here: http://t.co/TfkAQ6NUiP

Ken Schott (Union beat), Sean Martin (Union beat), Adam Wodon (CHN), Josh Seguin (CHN), Nate Owen (USCHO), Mark Divver (Providence Journal), and an anonymous ECAC broadcaster all chime in. Mine are there too.

I'm entering Nate Owen and Brian Sullivan. Not the others, especially Schott. I hope you got his permission to post his picks as he trashed me and made me take down his posting in a previous contest a few years back because I did not get his permission.

Round 2 picks will be available after the results of tonights Harvard - Dartmouth game 3. Right now Go Puckman and Mike Hutter are in the lead with 14 points each.

If Harvard wins it will be:
#12 Harvard at #1 Quinnipiac
#9 Cornell at #2 RPI
#7 Brown at #3 Yale
#6 SLU at #4 Union

If Dartmouth wins it will be:
#9 Cornell at #1 Quinnipiac
#7 Brown at #2 RPI
#6 SLU at #3 Yale
#5 Dartmouth at #4 Union

Go Harvard! No one wants to face RPI right now, especially not Brown.

And yes, I am currently washing my mouth out with soap for the first statement.

With Dartmouths win over Harvard the Quaterfinals are set andd Round 2 is ready for action. Round 2 is played EXACTLY LIKE Round 1.

You get a point for picking the correct winner of the series and a point for each correct total wins for each team. Max 2nd round point total per series is 4.

If Union wins 2-0 and you pick them to win 2-0 you get 4 points, 1 for Union as the winner, 2 for each Union win and 1 for picking Dartmouth to not win a game.
If Union wins 2-1 and you pick them to win 2-0 you get 3 points
If Union wins 2-0 and you pick Dartmouth to win 2-1 you get 1 point
If Union wins 2-0 and you pick Dartmouth to win 2-0 you get 0 points.

So here are the 2nd round matchups:

#9 Cornell at #1 Quinnipiac
#7 Brown at #2 RPI
#6 SLU at #3 Yale
#5 Dartmouth at #4 Union
