Here are Homer's Picks:

Qunnipiac over Brown.
Yale over Union.

Union beats Brown, say 3 - 2.

Quinnipiac beats Yale, say 3 - 2.

All credit to them. That strategy worked for them as it had for RPI for many games down the stretch. i suppose some teams are so good they can play well from behind by a few goals-but these teams were too evenly matched for any major comeback once you are down by several. They will need the same sort of thing against QU to succeed-get a head by a couple.

Thanks doc- I thought you guys played a heck of a series as well. If you don't make it into the tournament, I'd say you're one of the favorites going into next year.

You mean the guy that didn't miss a shift after a five minute major, and after every hit your players stayed down for about two minutes and then didn't miss a shift? Real classy. :rolleyes:

Robertson should have been jailed for that intent to injure.

Just like Chara should have gone to jail for the hit on Pacioretty, right? Give me a break.

You may have forgotten, but just a minute before the Robertson hit, one of YOUR players drove Mark Hourihan head first into the boards with a vicious cross check and got two minutes. I demand he be imprisoned for all eternity, and he should be written up by his RA!

After a hit from behind that Hourihan delivered. Yes it was a stupid penalty, BTW.

The point is: contact happens. This isn't racquetball. To imply that a hockey player should go to JAIL for anything that happens on the ice is comical. It was a physical series and both team got some rough hits. Stop picking on one of our guys when plenty of players on both teams are guilty. I am sorry that Bailen is injured. But it happens.

Quinnipiac over Brown -- I just really like the way the Bobcats are playing right now. Not tremendously confident against that goaltender Bruno has, but the Bobcats really played a hell of a series against Cornell.
Yale over Union - This is more hope than anything -- a QU vs Yale match for the conference title would just be too much fun. Hopefully both teams take care of business.

Consolation: Brown over Union
Championship - Quinnipiac over Yale 6-3
