Here we go........the standings mean nothing and some of the teams at the bottom and top were going in opposite directions as the playoffs started further confusing things. That said.........
I'm taking Dryden over Hobey. But you can make a fair argument for Hobey. There's just never been a single player who's ever been as singlehandedly dominant in their college hockey career as Dryden. I mean in 3 seasons he only played in 5 games that he didn't win and one of those was a tie, and two of those were in the Frozen Four. I'll give you Hobey as a close second, but no way college Hockey was as competitive then as it was in the late 60s and Dryden still dominated.
