Yes, the ECAC consolation game finishes as a tie after a 5 minute sudden death overtime period. SLU needed a win to get into the NCAA tournament a few years back (2009) and played Princeton and finished with a 2-2 tie which ended our season. They do a shootout to clear up who finishes third and fourth for the tourament, but the game ends as a tie.

I just took a look back at my predictions for the regular season that I made way back in October, and just realized something: My entire top four that I had chosen made it to Atlantic City. Vic, do I get any sort of bonus for that? Even if it's just a cookie? :D

Has anyone been to a hockey game at the Boardwalk Hall

Wondering about Ice conditions, since the last two w/ends it had Basketball & Wrestling

So long as there's no figure skating exposé beforehand, they should be OK. The staff doesn't know how to chip paint off the ice.

I have been to Boardwalk Hall for other events-not hockey. The building has always felt warm inside-so I too wonder about the ice conditions. It is supposed to be in the high 60's here friday and only slightly cooler on saturday.

Pretty sure I read awhile back that when two college games were played there earlier this year the ice was atrocious !
