Whether you do or not is between you, them, and the league. I'm merely pointing out a scheduling fact from within the past couple of years (I don't remember the exact year it happened).
Although I will give the league credit for at least attempting to accommodate it. They (Dartmouth and Harvard) actually had to move games with us the first year of the RPI-Union Mayor's Cup, but now the league accommodates for it in the schedule because of the large amount of gate money it brings in (over 5000 attendance this year; it's hit 7000 in the past, especially after "the fight").
Why would Brown not object? There were a couple occasions in the past decade or so where our Harvard home game - typically one of the best attended games of the season - was moved to a random Tuesday to accommodate for the Beanpot. How does that benefit Brown?
