No sooner do I type this then do the refs call a penalty, I believe on Yale? ... 13:58 to go in the 2nd period now 0-0 score

Three or four good chances for Yale as they manage some sustained pressure on the BU goalie, but nothing happening yet ... 0-0 score

Very nice goal by Yale. winning the faceoff, moving the puck quickly, getting the screen low and not wasting time with any extra passes. It was like watching the mirror image of the Cornell pp. :p

Lyon has been huge; he needs to withstand whatever godawful barrage BU is going to unleash when they get out of their own way.

BU was definitely coming on strong at the end of the period. Since Yale scored they turned up the pressure actually and I look for that to continue in the 3rd period as well. Lyon better continue to be up to the task and they pressure will be coming even harder in the 3rd.

And in case anyone didn't know from the other thread, it's 1-0 Yale end of the 2nd. Just about to start the 3rd in a couple of minutes.

I've been impressed by Lyon; his saves don't seem like luck.

I'm also getting a charge out of O'Connor, who looks like a Southie drunk looking for a fight after every whistle. Billy Smith was more low key. :)

Start of the 3rd period ... 1-0 Yale .. Tough 3rd period coming up as BU will be strong trying to tie this one and grab the win!

Lol, yes he is pretty fiesty it appears! ... Lyon has been great so far and he will need to be here in the 3rd if Yale wants to take this one!! :O
