Deflection and the puck goes out of play off of a Quinnipiac player. Faceoff in the Quinnipiac zone with 2:22 to go in overtime ... 2-2

Puck goes into the bench now with 1:57 to go in the 1st overtime ...

The end to end action appears to be slowing down a bit, a lot more whistles now ... Fatigue probably starting to set in, look for shorter shifts now ...

End of the 1st overtime period ... 2-2 headed to a 2nd overtime from Lake Placid!

The 1st overtime was up and down and lightning quick. Both teams with some grade A chances. I doubt they can keep that pace up as the game wears on. Things started to slow up towards the end of that 1st overtime period. Probably a sign of fatigue and things to come ...

Tyson Spink with the goal on a rebound of the shot by Baun ... What a nice goal and a HUGE win for Colgate and the ECAC as a whole ... What an excellent game!!!

Well, good night everyone, it was fun! What a great start to the ECAC Championships being back in its rightful home in Lake Placid! Let's hope for a good one tomorrow night for the Championship! :)
