ECAC Friday November 4

Kepler

Si certus es dubita
Let the games begin. All starts 7 except the game in New Haven (7:30 for TV I guess). The ECAC has a decent scoreboard, updated infrequently.

RPI at Clarkson
Union at St. Lawrence
Quinnipiac at Dartmouth
Princeton at Harvard
Colgate at Brown
Cornell at Yale

Re: ECAC Friday November 4

Chicken**** hit by Wick injures Carr for Union, deserved to get the gate but only gets a 2.

Re: ECAC Friday November 4

Austin Smith scores shorthanded to give Colgate a 1-0 lead over Brown 6:35 into the first!

Re: ECAC Friday November 4

Carr thankfully returns to the ice for Union, no score at Appleton halfway through the first period.

Re: ECAC Friday November 4

SLU has a goal waved off for kicking the puck in, not sure if this is reviewable.

Goal is under review, Doherty will get credit if the the goal is good.

Original ruling is upheld, no goal.

Union 1, SLU 0 after 1. A very physical first period, SLU looks much better than their record indicates.

Re: ECAC Friday November 4

2-1 Princeton over Harvard with about 6 mins left in the 2nd. All PP goals.

Re: ECAC Friday November 4

Hi Tim,

Can't get SLU Audio to listening to Union Audio.......Union announcers keep referring to SLU as a one-line team. :)

I wouldn't say that, but they're not knocking my socks off with their play, either.

Chip McDonald is completely out of control, terrible calls both ways.

Re: ECAC Friday November 4

Second period was pretty good for SLU . . . well, other than not being able to score. But they did have several good shots and several tips right in front that hit the Union goalie. Good effort, but nothing to show for it. Union's PK is very efficient. They don't chase at all, and they fill every shooting lane. SLU had possession for long stretches with good puck movement, but couldn't find an opening to shoot through.

Redcast's technical problems seem to have been resolved. Interview with D'Agostino on Scrivens 1st victory with the Maple Leafs yesterday.
