ECAC, Friday February 17

Re: ECAC, Friday February 17

Colgate targeting Flanagan, but they've gotten a little carried away twice. The first boarding call was only a minor (could have been 5 or more) and SLU scored. Second charging call did draw a major penalty call and SLU got another. 3-0

Re: ECAC, Friday February 17

Harvard scores out of nowhere after Brown had been absolutely dominating play for the entire period. 3-1 Crimson.

Re: ECAC, Friday February 17

A Harvard player just knocked Richie Crowley out with a vicious hit. Just what we need- another injured defender.

Re: ECAC, Friday February 17

End of the 2nd period, 3-2 Harvard. This game has been highly entertaining. Great back-and-forth, wide open hockey from both teams after Harvard stopped playing the stupid left-wing lock (darn you, New Jersey, for introducing that horrible system to the world).

This game has been everything the one in Cambridge wasn't- exciting, interesting, and just good quality hockey. That game was boring, listless, and there was not much to captivate the crowd there. Even the goals in tonight's game are of a much higher quality, particularly for Harvard.

According to Cornell announcer for the second time tonight Clarkson has too many men on the ice, but it's not called.

12:36 left in 3d.

Shortly thereafter Cornell gets away with the same offense. Apparently refs can't count.
