Re: ECAC Friday 1/17

Also hockeyplayer (or anyone), do you know why the SLU play-by-play mentioned that Nick Lappin was booed in lineup introductions? What might that be in reference to?

Re: ECAC Friday 1/17

Lappin finds Robertson on the PP. 3-0. SLU looks lost. Again.

We look like we suck again. We give up the easiest goals. Second half is off to a horrible start. My worst fears about this team are coming true. When we were at Meehan earlier in the year weren't we up 3-0?? Maybe they can turn the tables.

It was 3-1, I think. We (Brown) spent a lot of time giving up multiple goals in the first period before rallying to tie it (and then usually lose) in the early part of the season.

Probably the fact he didn't follow his roots to Canton, NY. Only thing I can think of.

First time watching these guys in a while, Mike. I... don't think they have improved, and likely have gotten worse. The boys just look absolutely lost.

Re: ECAC Friday 1/17

Cornell's goals on a shorty breakaway and then an odd man rush with 4 seconds to go in the period.

Re: ECAC Friday 1/17

Colgate leads Dartmouth 2-1 after the first period. Colgate goals by Black and Borkowski (PP), Dartmouth goal by McNally

We look awful! I don't really know what happened to us mid-season, but this is not good! The talent this team has and the way we have/are playing to me is completely unacceptable. What's especially startling is reading the article in the WDT about how hard we are working. We treated this week of practice as if it were the preseason mini camp and then we look worse than before, in all areas, offense included. I can't really figure out what it is that we are missing, but right now we are a long ways from even being a good team, let alone one that has a shot at a second half run ... Totally disappointed fan here!!!

I agree...unless something miraculous happens I envision a 20 loss season coming up.

It is a very real possibility. I think we have the 3rd toughest league schedule (tied with that other team down Rt. 11, obviously) remaining. Something around a .550 win % amongst our future opponents.
