Unlike last knights Hahvad-CCT game which was played tentatively by both teams, this first period really was entertaining. Both teams flying up and down the ice with the referees swallowing their whistles until the last min when Dart had a hit from behind followed by a tripping penalty (both deserved) within 10 seconds of one another. Clarkson with the better scoring chances but could not capitalize.
End of 1 period: 0-0
