Ecac 11/6

Re: Ecac 11/6

Holy cow. What a period. Both teams are gambling a ton, both teams are making plays, and it's like watching ping pong.

SLU's freshmen continue to impress me. Essery, Wick, Carey, and Baker look very good. Dewey looks great, too.

Hi Tim,

I crappeed bricks when Dan said on his Blog that Baker went out with a knee problem in the first. I'm glad he is OK and back.

Re: Ecac 11/6

SLU scores to make it 3-1 with about 10 min. left in the 3rd.

Appleton Arena continues to be a House of Horrors for Colgate :(

Re: Ecac 11/6

Flanagan showed tremendous hands on that shot, but the goal was really the result of Carey getting off two lightning-quick wristers that Evin couldn't quite corral. Those two could become a deadly combination for SLU.

Carey has an incredible release and he will only get better.

Impressive win for SLU. Easy to overlook Weninger's game, but he was good again. Colgate can really move the puck.

Hughes, Baker, Flanagan, Flanagan, Carey. After they get a few more games together, that is going to be a fun combination to watch.
